There are things that most grown ups have.  It could be society deems in a necessity or over time it’s just become the norm.

I just found out that a friend of mine doesn’t have – wait for it…wait for it…

a BANK ACCOUNT!

That’s not a typo!  He’s 37 years old – married with two kids and does not have a bank account!  His wife is the bread winner – so she takes care of all the bills.  And he even cashes his paychecks at a check cashing place.

Yep ~ he pays to have his checks cashed!!  Why?  He says he prefers to live off the grid.

Personally – I believe it’s impossible to live “Off The Grid” especially if you have a working wife and children in the school system…but who am I to burst his bubble.  It does make me wonder what others are living WITHOUT this day and age.

What are you living WITHOUT that most people have?

Maybe you don’t get your electricity from PG&E?  Perhaps you don’t have a car?  A television?  A mobile phone. Or maybe you’re a grown-up that DOESN’T have a bank account?
