It’s Like a scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”, but not that scary…

Have you ever seen the large group of birds flying in formation in the valley?

A group of birds like that is called a “Murmuration”.

Usually in our area they are starlings and sometimes their formations can be memorizing.

One day they were flying above I-5 and 8 Mile Rd, slightly obscured by the fog, slowly rippling in and out of the haze. At one point I thought there were a pair of sky divers attempting to navigate the through the foggy sky. Then I realized I’ve seen this formation before.

Further down the road, I caught these birds between Lodi & Stockton.
