There are a lot of smells in the country.
Fresh cut hay is one of the best, even though it makes me sneeze.
And it’s strange how a distant skunk smell is not all that bad.
(But when your dog comes inside after a close encounter with one, it’s a completely different story!)
To some, a Dairy may stink too, but ask any farmer and they’ll say that’s the smell on Money!
When the onion crop is harvested off 99 & French Camp Rd. It always smells like Sour Cream & Onion potato chips. I get hungry driving by!
And when California Cedar Products is in full production of Durflame logs, the air at I-5 & Mt. Diablo in Stockton is filled with the awesome smell of Cedar.
When people say the valley stinks…it does sting the nostrils, but in a good way.
