What Item Did You Not Expect to Cost So Much?

The Princess recently upgraded our bedding – which was quite expensive.  But then

wanted to add some “throw pillows” to the ensemble. These things are crazy expensive!  $18 – $22 – $42…EACH!  For pillows…

What really gets me – is these are pillows that don’t even get used!  They should cost $4…tops.  But we got ’em – I’m going to finance them and pay ’em off over the next 4 years – but we got ’em!

What is an adult item that you didn’t expect to be so expensive?
