Some engineering students at the University of Michigan figured out how to essentially GUARANTEE that you win the wishbone breaking war at Thanksgiving. 

Here\’s  how to win at breaking the wishbone for Thanksgiving.  Make sure the bone is completely dry . . . use your dominant hand . . . grab the side of the bone that\’s bigger . . . hold it as close to the base of the V as possible . . . and stay still and let the other person pull.
