When I bought my car – the dealer tied to up-sell me with loads of options like: Theft protection – tire packages – window etching – and heated car seats. I said “NO” to all of them.
A friend says I made a huge mistake not getting heated car seats. She claims its the
best invention of all time – and once you own a car with heated seats, it’s very hard to live without them.
I find it ridiculous to have them in Northern California. It’s cold here 3…maybe 4 months outta the year. She counters call it a therapy device. She’ll crank ’em up after yoga to ease sore muscles…or if her back is bothering her.
I’m still unimpressed by the heated seats….or maybe it’s the extra $1500 the dealer wanted to tack on to the price of the vehicle. Either way – I’ll be freezing my buns off with the rest of the commoners over the next few months.
Are heated car seats a must have new car option? Would you recommend them? What is the best “new car option” you would recommend?
