The Princess was having coffee with some friends last night, and I met them because I was taking her to dinner after.

When I sat down – these three women were talking about how much they hate being

called ma’am. She says, “ma’am” is for old ladies, and she’s NOT an old lady.

When she fills out forms – she’ll check “Ms”, not “Miss” or “Mrs”–she says it’s none of your business if she’s married or not.

Do you NOT want to be called “Ma’am”?

This blew up our phones. We had 21 year olds, 40 year olds, and 55 year olds calling in with very strong opinions.

For the record…guys don’t mind being called “sir“. #justsayin
