We had company for the last two weeks.  More showers, more electricity consumption and don’t get me started on the AC.

It’s been hot in the Central Valley but having lived in Dubai for several years – we are used to the heat. Our visiting relatives – not so much.  For the past 2 weeks we had to set the thermostat WAAAAAY lower than we normally do.

I shudder when I think about my next utility bill.

We normally don’t crank up the AC until it gets around 78-80 degrees outside – if it’s humid…maybe 75.  How about you?
