There seems to be some debate over how you pronounce the word “ALMOND”.

We spoke to some native Californians that say it’s a silent “L”.  Some folks from the Midwest claim you definitely say the “L”.  We even spoke to an Almond Farmer.  So we decided we had to dig a little deeper.

Having the great city of Ripon here in the Valley that holds an Almond Blossom Festival we thought it necessary to pronounce the word correctly.  So we went to an authority on the subject Peter Paul.  The masterminds behind the Almond Joy.
