Now that John Gruden is coming back to the Bay Area to coach the Oakland Raiders for the second time the marketing machine has really kicked in. So much so that Corona has attempted to jump on the hyped up coattails of the coach to where I was at the grocery store the other day and walked by the giant John Gruden bobblehead doll seen in the photo above wearing a Corona T-Shirt. I think it’s really clever but thought they should have put a scowl on his face like he gets when he doesn’t like a call that an official makes. You know, the face that looks like Chucky from Child’s Play. Of course they can’t because it would scare the crap out of little kids and that’s probably bad at a grocery store. Regardless, I have to believe some enterprising Raiders fans are trying to figure out how to pull off the heist of one of these awesome soon-to-be collectibles. Can you imagine how much they’d fetch on eBay? If they were smart they made at least a few with the scowl for just that reason.
