We were out to eat (at a restaurant that shall remain nameless) and I ordered pasta. As I was enjoying the dish – I found a little blue sticker that said “Monday” on it. It’s something cooks put on a container so they know when it was made and if they can still use it.

I didn’t think anything of it. The Princess says – send it back. That’s unacceptable. It’s not like it was a hair or a bug – so we compromised. I told them about the sticker and showed it to them – just to give them a heads up. Then I continued eating.
In the end – they comped our dessert – everyone was happy.
I’m just not one to send food back – as i get a little nervous about what might happen to it once it disappears back into the kitchen. Apparently, I’m not alone:
-
39% of people say sending back food at a restaurant makes them uncomfortable.
-
And 3% wouldn’t do it even if their entire order was wrong.
If YOU found a a foreign object in your food – would you send it back? Or are you like me and you just eat it anyway.
