The princess and I recently purchased a new car.  Needless to say everything in it is new to us.  We’re figuring out all the bells and whistles – which buttons and switches do what and where everything is.

As we were pulling into the gas station to fill up she said…

“Pull over and I’ll see which side the gas tank is on.”

To which I replied…

“It’s on the driver’s side.”

She asked…

“How do you know that?”  

I proceeded to explain how the little arrow next to the gas gauge points to the side the tank is on.  She was blown away.  She’s been driving for years and had now idea car makers have been trying to help you avoid leaning out of a rolling vehicle to see which side your gas tank was on.
