If you had asked me what the most googled plastic surgery in the Golden State was I would have guessed liposuction. Almost everyone has a little bit of fat they’d like to get rid of somewhere on their body so it seems the most universal, especially given how vain people in Southern California (the most heavily populated part of the state) are. I guessed wrong. Then what could it be? Butt implants, facelifts or breast augmentation? Nope, the most google plastic surgical procedure in California is CHIN IMPLANTS.

I can see how some guy with a wimpy jaw would get chin implants but why would a women?  Aren’t they more interested in having a butt like J-Lo or breasts like Kate Upton than a jaw like John Wayne? According to this article breast implants weren’t the most googled in any state in America but chin implants led the way in Washington state as well. Turns out “coolsculpting” was the #1 most googled plastic surgery term in America. Coolsculpting, according to Wikipedia, “is a noninvasive body sculpting procedure based on cryolipolysis, a method of controlled cold exposure that causes an inflammatory response in fat cells, resulting in gradual cell death and consumption by macrophages, without causing damage to other tissues. It is intended for body contouring and not general weight loss.”

Ironically the original plastic surgery, a facelift, is #1 in Alaska, where people are in the dark for half the year.
