DIY Pumpkin Spice Syrup

 

You guys, I’m tellin’ ya, coming back home after FIVE WHOLE YEARS is like… so good! I love that I came back to California just in time for the Fall. There is really nothing like California in Autumn. Am I right?!

 

I just got a new place and am feeling all crafty and Pinterest-ey (just go with it…). So, last night, I was craving a pumpkin spice latte (#PSL) but I just didn’t want to leave or spend a million dollars on one sooo I created my own.

 

The recipe is so simple, its almost funny I’m telling you about it but here it goes:

 

I boiled 1/4 cup of water, 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree and 2 table spoons of pumpkin spice. Let it boil for about 3 minutes and then boom, your very  own PSL syrup! I know, so easy right?!

 

You can totes strain out some of the pumpkin pulp with cheesecloth if you want, but I didn’t and mine was GLORIOUS!!!
