According to the Fresno Bee CalTrans is hiring for over 1,100 jobs in California.

They’re looking for civil engineers, electrical engineers, surveyors, right-of-way agents and environmental planners. There are also a few openings for blue-collar maintenance, mechanic and heavy equipment operator positions, with apprenticeships for some of those jobs.

Why all the jobs?
