As noted in a previous blog from Jungle Jim, Modesto has fallen from the top. We’re no longer the #1 ranked city in the nation for auto thefts. Thanks go to Albuquerque for taking that distinction as Modesto moves to number 4. Honorable mention goes to Merced coming in at #7 on the countdown.

Which brings me to the photo I took while goofing around this morning. Is this not the best vehicle theft prevention system you could have? I was behind the truck for several minutes before I noticed the little fella peeking over the tailgate. I couldn’t help but think anyone trying to sneak some tools out of the back would end up having a really bad day, but would probably get what they deserve.
